Lyn showed an early talent for art, winning a county award at age ten. Although she later pursued a career in IT, her creativity was rekindled through scuba diving in the UK, where she began underwater photography to capture marine life. After emigrating to Australia in 1989, Lyn and her partner built their home in Wamboin. She photographed both the underwater world and Australia’s landscapes, later returning to study Interactive Media in 1998. This led her back to printmaking, including lino prints, solar plate etching and woodcuts. Lyn now works from her Wamboin studio, balancing picture framing with developing new print works and since 2017, has also produced printed items using dye-sublimation.
