This fully signed oil study of James Robb was done for the major oil painting, Captured. Robb was the central male figure in the painting and is a commanding presence. Norman also did a similar watercolour of the same name where again, Robb is the central male character. James Robb was a favourite model of Norman's and featured in a number of his works.
