The Sugar Glider (Petaurus breviceps) is a small, nocturnal marsupial possum that lives in the tree canopy of forests around Australia. They can glide great distances using the furry membranes which extend from their front to hind feet. They feed on insects as well as flowers, nectar and tree sap.
